Bitvavo portfolio tracker
Bitvavo is a euro-based crypto exchange from Amsterdam. RatioNexFlow reads a Bitvavo account with a view-only API key; its export file is not auto-detected yet.
Bitvavo's own app shows balances and an unrealised profit or loss per coin. RatioNexFlow puts the account next to your other exchanges and wallets, keeps the price history, computes the portfolio's risk measures and watches your alerts. It only reads with your key: create the key without trading or withdrawal rights, and confirm that when you connect.

What works with RatioNexFlow today
| Feature | State | Detail |
|---|---|---|
| Live sync with a read-only key (Pro, beta) | Yes | A key with the view permission only (View information, or View access in the API docs); Trade digital assets and Withdraw digital assets stay off. RatioNexFlow reads balances, trades, deposits and withdrawals. Bitvavo quotes in EUR, so every asset you own or funded is scanned against EUR. |
| Statement import | No | Bitvavo's transaction history export is not auto-detected yet. Drop an anonymised copy on Help us improve imports and we add it; until then, use the key or manual entry. |
| Manual entry | Yes | Add any holding or trade by hand on the Manual Entry tab. |
| Prices | Yes | Portfolio prices come from Kraken's public spot market data, refreshed every minute while the app is open; dYdX and Hyperliquid price the coins Kraken does not list. A coin none of them lists takes CoinGecko's price, updated every few minutes, if it is among CoinGecko's top 250 coins; otherwise it has no price yet. |
| Threat Protection | Yes | Every token in the account that RatioNexFlow can resolve on-chain is screened, and no coin is exempt: a coin in CoinGecko's top 250 with no token contract on a supported chain is read from its market figures, and a major coin (top 20 by market value, at least 5 years of price history, at least $100 million traded a day) keeps its full result with its score capped at low. |
| Price alerts | Yes | Price and % change alerts, checked about every minute: an in-app toast, with sound and a system notification on Pro. Free has one active alert. |
| Portfolio Analytics (Pro) | Yes | Equity curve, drawdown, time- and money-weighted returns, concentration, Sharpe, Sortino, Calmar, VaR, CVaR and beta against BTC from the synced history. |
| Tax CSV (Pro) | Partly | A CSV of closed trades and reward income. Not a tax report and no country forms. |
How to get your Bitvavo portfolio in
- On the Bitvavo website (keys cannot be made in the app), click your name → Settings → API → Add new API key. Name it, tick View information only (the API docs call it View access), leave Trade digital assets and Withdraw digital assets off, and confirm with your 2FA code. Leave the IP whitelist empty: our servers use dynamic addresses.
- In RatioNexFlow, open Connect Exchange, pick Bitvavo, paste the API key and secret, confirm the key is read-only and sync.
- Without a key: add your holdings and trades by hand on the Manual Entry tab.
- Help us add the file import: on the Bitvavo website open Transaction history → Export, choose the transaction history CSV and drop it on Help us improve imports. Identifying fields are stripped in your browser before anything is sent.
Not yet
- Statement import: Bitvavo's export format is not in the auto-detect list yet.
- The live connection is built from Bitvavo's API documentation and not yet verified against a live account: compare the synced counts with Bitvavo and tell us if anything is off.
- E-mail and push alerts are planned, not available.
About Bitvavo
| Topic | What Bitvavo states |
|---|---|
| Company | Bitvavo B.V., Keizersgracht 281, Amsterdam, the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce no. 68743424). Founded in Amsterdam in 2018.[1][2] |
| Regulation in the EU | Authorised as a crypto-asset service provider under MiCA by the Dutch AFM (announced June 2025) for custody, operating a trading platform and transfers; the French AMF register lists the passport from 14 July 2025. Staking and lending sit outside the MiCA licence.[3][4][15] |
| Public API | A REST API and WebSocket APIs, documented publicly. Any private or corporate account can create API keys, on the website only, not in the app.[5][6] |
| API key permissions | Each key gets the permissions you tick: View access (balances and transactions; called View information in Bitvavo's help articles), Trade digital assets, Withdraw digital assets, plus subaccount and administrative options. A key with the view permission only can read but not trade or withdraw. Bitvavo notes that withdrawals made with an API key skip 2FA.[5][6][7] |
| History export | Transaction history → Export on the website: a CSV of all trades, deposits and withdrawals (current year, previous years or full history), limited to 30,000 lines per period, or a balance statement PDF.[8][9] |
| Euro funding | The EU platform takes EUR only, by SEPA transfer, iDEAL, Bancontact, EPS, PayPal, card and Apple Pay, from a bank account in your own name. Withdrawals go to a linked bank account in one to two business days.[10][11] |
| Assets listed | Over 400 digital assets, all quoted in EUR.[12][1] |
| Bitvavo's own portfolio view | Balances per asset with their EUR value, and unrealised P&L per asset based on the weighted average cost; trading fees are left out of the cost. Realised P&L and an allocation breakdown are not described.[13] |
| Tax documents | Bitvavo does not make tax reports itself. It offers a yearly balance statement PDF (value on 1 January and 31 December) and the transaction CSV, and names third-party tax tools that read them.[14][8] |
| Staking and Earn | Bitvavo Earn: Auto Earn (flexible staking and lending, weekly rewards) and Fixed Staking (30-day lock).[15] |
| Mobile apps | iOS and Android apps; one account works in the app and on the website.[16] |
