How Ask's answers are marked as AI
Every answer from Ask your portfolio is written by AI and marked as such, for people and for software. This page shows the marks and how to check for them.
What Ask is
Ask your portfolio is an AI system in RatioNexFlow. It answers questions about your own portfolio. An AI model (Claude, made by Anthropic) writes each answer automatically from your own portfolio figures; no person writes or reviews it. Ask is in beta, its answers can be wrong, and it is not financial advice. RatioNexF OÜ, the company behind RatioNexFlow, provides Ask. What Ask sends to Anthropic and what we keep is in our Privacy policy.
What you see
- Before your first question, the screen where you turn Ask on says that Ask is an AI system, in beta, can be wrong and is not advice.
- Next to the question box: "AI answers · beta · can be wrong · not advice".
- Under every answer: "Written by AI from your own data · beta · can be wrong — check the figures · not financial advice".
The machine-readable marks
Each answer carries the same record in three places that software can read:
- In the answer data. The app receives every answer with an
ai_generatedrecord:generated(true),system("RatioNexFlow Ask"),provider("RatioNexF OÜ"),model(the AI model that wrote it) andgenerated_at(when it was written). - On the answer card. The card's outer element carries the attributes
data-ai-generated="true",data-ai-system="RatioNexFlow Ask"anddata-ai-model, and holds a JSON-LD block (a schema.orgCreativeWork) with the same record. - In copied text. Text you copy from an answer card ends with the line "— Written by AI (RatioNexFlow Ask)".
How to check whether a text came from Ask
- In the app, open your browser's developer tools on an answer: its card's outer element shows
data-ai-generated="true". - In code or a browser extension, select
[data-ai-generated="true"]on the page, or read the JSON-LD block inside the card (ascriptelement). - In copied text, look for the last line "— Written by AI (RatioNexFlow Ask)".
RatioNexFlow adds these marks. Text that has been retyped, edited or passed through other tools may no longer carry them, so a missing mark does not show that a person wrote the text.
